Andrew Martin has operated his own business in the services and supplies sector of the resources industry. Until recently he was an independent director of Sunshine Gas Limited. He has enjoyed high level involvement in Queensland's agricultural industry as representative for Queensland graziers through the United Graziers' Association (now Agforce), Executive Member of National Farmers' Federation, Executive of Wool Council Australia, Chairman of State Ministerial Land Advisory Committee, President of Warrego Graziers' Association and President of Sheep and Wool Council of Queensland.
